  • A savings, smart spending, and financial literacy platform created just for kids and families. Goalsetter's investors include Morgan Stanley, Ken Chenault, and Robert F. Smith. Goalsetter Advisors include Carla Harris, Vice Chair of Morgan Stanley; Steve Youngwood, COO of Sesame Workshop, and Jennifer Barrett, Chief Content Officer at Acorns. Goalsetter has been featured on SharkTank, ABC News, and Fox News, among other outlets.

  • Raise: $3,000,000 - Seed

  • Location: New York, NY

  • Founder: Tanya Van Court, CEO. Tanya led digital products at Nickelodeon, where she was responsible for their digital preschool and parenting businesses, including NickJr.com and Noggin.com. Tanya served as Senior Vice President of Partner Marketing at Discovery Education, where she launched digital textbooks to schools across the country. Prior to Nickelodeon and Discovery, Tanya served as vice president of new media products for ESPN, where she led the launch of ESPN3. Tanya has two degrees in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.


  • Digital health company on a mission to increase access to women’s health resources for young women. Kiira’s first product is a virtual women’s health clinic and advanced AI care coordinator for colleges and universities. Kiira Health won the 2019 Afrotech Pitch Competition and the 2020 Black New Venture Competition Audience Choice Award at Harvard Business School’s AASU conference

  • Founder: Crystal Evuleocha, Co-founder and CEO. Crystal is a serial entrepreneur turned health tech professional with over 6 years of project management, business development and legal expertise in healthcare regulation and administration. Crystal has a passion for women’s health equity and serving underserved populations. Her work includes creating Sade spaces for women of color to receive better healthcare options, aid and resources. Crystal received a Bachelor of Science in Economics/Energy and Sustainability from the University of Houston.

  • Founder: Jerry Nemorin, CEO. Jerry worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in its Global Corporate & Investment Banking division, helping major companies restructure their debt during the financial crisis and raise money from the high yield debt market. Jerry received a B.S. in Finance and Exercise & Sports Science from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.


  • A digital financial wellness platform providing content and banking tools built around how people of color save, spend, and build their legacies differently. Serving large enterprises that need to ensure the financial health of their employees of color, supporting them with personal financial tools, early wage access solutions, relevant dynamic content, and AI-driven financial insights.

  • Location: Maplewood, NJ

  • Founder: Yemi Rose, CEO. Yemi has spent almost two decades at the intersection of financial services and communications/marketing focused on financial wellness, most recently as the Vice President of Financial Wellness Enterprise Initiatives with Prudential Financials' Global Communications Group. He left corporate life to found OfColor with a mission to leverage fintech to end what he sees as an ongoing economic apartheid in the United States. He writes and speaks extensively on the racial wealth gap, and his writings on the subject have been published in Black Enterprise, The Root, Blavity, and Money.com. Yemi received Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Cornell University.
